The plant automation is one of the updating activities purely connected with the industries which are started at the earliest, manufacturing a high volume of parts or products with the help of production facilities, which are out-of-date or absolute.

The plant automation is the activity of changing or removing all unwanted functions found in the existing production facilities, which are consuming more power, process time, manpower, maintenance and, replacement of spares which, leads to increased production cost.
